Well I've felt compelled to inform you of a bad experience recently with an online store front called "Board Paradise". The level of disappointment and frustration in dealing with these people absolutely floored me, therefore I can only hope that warning others will repent the attitudes of those running such a poor online retail service!
I've been eying a new wakeskate lately which lead me to a division of the company above called Woody's Garage were I had tracked down what seemed to be a good deal on several wakeskates. The price was great, shipping was free, and the transaction seemed just like any other online retailer. That is until six days (Wed Nov 7) went buy and I did not receive a notice my order shipped even though I re-checked the items I ordered were in stock both on the website and on my invoice confirmation and they indicated delivery by 10 working days. So in anticipation of riding my new sticks before the weekend I called and requested a tracking number. Of course no one answered and I had to leave a message. Now it was time to check the credit card, yep they charged the full amount and my order confirmation indicated a ok. Now let's see on the 10th day I got a call that indicated they don't have my second board and I would need to choose another before they would ship the order, and they indicated twice they had it in stock but some one sold it out from under me!?!....ok I'll spare you the rest of the details because it's way to much for me to write!
Needless to say I finally received one of my original boards on Nov 14th (Day 14) and was forced to get a store credit for a board that was said to be in stock! ...this buy the way is what the issue really is..I just wanted my money back for the second wakeskate, but they insisted that's not policy and then added 20% to my credit to attempt to please the customer, well that's were things really got ridiculous! I got put on hold, no one answered the phone to re-order another board, the phone was hung up on me they tried to sell me into another board they had, played phone hold game , and the worst part was most of the items they indicate are in stock aren't! ..and they admitted it on the phone! I was on a wild goose chase getting no where with these people when I finally gave up and found a skate they would send, it turned out to be a demo board! ...errrrr!
IT'S A SALES TRAP...or should I say VERY bad sales tactics!!!
Online retailers exist and succeed because they have GREAT customer service!!!!

DO NOT PAY that portion of your CC bill. You can tell your CC company the same story a 20% upcharge...for what.

This company really is aweful. I bought something from them on ebay, (where they go by the name boardsportsplus). They sent me the wrong thing, and then expected me to pay for their mistake. I got kind of aggrivated and made this blog, Board Paradise Problems

i ordered from "Tightboards" (Boardparadise) one and a half month ago. My accuont is charged and now my order is deleted snd they don't answer on email. This is really bad.
THEY BLOW!!! THEY CHARGED MY ORDER TO MY DEBIT CARD TWICE. IT HAS BEEN A WEEK & NO ONE WILL CALL ME BACK. I AM ABOUT TO GET A LAWYER. DO NOT ORDER FROM ANY OF THESE COMPANIES EVER!!!!! WHAT A SCAM!!!
I've been waiting for my order for almost two months now...
I never heard from them once durring this time. Got in contact with their online support after several attempts only to get a lie about that they had emailed me and informed me that some items was out of stock, and I had to replace them. I then did as they claimed to have told me to do, and another month went by, stil nothing...
This pisses me off on a scale I can't even begin to explain. ¨
This campany is the most rotten thing ever, and scammers like that should f'ing rot in hell.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
But if you already have and have paid by credit card, don't believe anything you hear from them about crediting your account. They will lie and lie.
CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY RIGHT NOW and 'dispute' the charge. It will take a few months because Tightbds/bdparadise does not respond to disputes and your card company has to wait the full time until they can reward you the dispute but you will get your money back through your cc company.
ASK your cc company to make a complaint through their Merchant Services on this company.
If you paid by some other method contact teh BBB there and file a claim
