The "Floater" Wake Rail

1st Lake Saxon Wake Rail
(...the "Floater" is 20ft long with a 10ft incline
by 30" high sitting a top an old 12ft John boat!)

The History

...sometime in the wake board season of 2005 a few of the local riders, young and old, were out for a post tourney session on a lake somewhere in Land o Lakes Florida when the idea was sparked..."you know we have something special here, with so many riders in our community competing together at all of these wakeboard events we should create a wake board club!" Daphne Perrone.

...several months later in the middle of the 2006 wake board season after tossing some name ideas around and watching a clip from a Sean Kilgus movie "The Butter Effect" it dawned on me at a local grass roots event! We live in Land o Lakes to which the township was named from the infamous Butter, and our lakes are infamous for year round butter conditions (the term "butter" means smooth glassy water to water skiers) so we all agreed on a name "The Land o Lakes Butter Effect Wake Team"!

...towards the end of the 2006 season we launched what is known today as www.LOLWAKE.com, and the rest is yet to be told....
